Scarborough Beach, Australia – The Shaw and Partners Financial Services Summer of Surf Series has seen an incredible expansion thanks to Race One Surf Craft and Paddles with the total prize pool set to tip $500,000 over the 2023/24 summer racing schedule with a significant investment into the under 15 and under 17 divisions.
Race One Surf Craft and Paddles recently announced the merger with Dolphin Surf Craft and Waterman store which has seen the formation of a major player in the surf scene in Race One Surf Craft and Paddles.
Race One Co-Owner, Jimmy Walker, expressed his excitement at the partnership, stating “we are thrilled to be merging with Dolphin Surfcraft and Waterman Store and look forward to giving back to the sport in ways never before seen starting with a $100,000 injection from Race One Surf Craft and Paddles into the overall prize pool of the Shaw and Partners Financial Services Summer of Surf.”
The event schedule for the Shaw and Partners Financial Services Summer of Surf Series will see a massive boost with a double header event confirmed for the Shaw and Partners Shannon Eckstein Ironman Classic to join the Shaw and Partners Hayden Kenny Classic and NSW premier event venue (TBC) to see four premier events over the summer, running in conjunction with a rapidly expanding offering of 5,000 and 7,000 rated events.
The partnership with Race One Surf Craft and Paddles is set to provide athletes with a multi-year racing opportunity and an increased investment in the junior ranks, which is welcomed by Shaw and Partners Financial Services Co-CEO, Earl Evans.
