Shaw and Partners Financial Services are proud to announce a jack-potted prize pool for this weekends Wanda Tradies ’One Club’ Carnival to the tune of a whopping $22,000 cash and prizes.
The Wanda Tradies “One Club” Carnival will be kick-starting the eleven stop Shaw and Partners Summer of Surf Series and due to the uncertainty of the NSW/ QLD border situation, Shaw and Partners Financial Services have doubled the prize pool, to feature a $22,000 prize money allocation for this weekends Wanda Tradies ’One Club” Carnival.
Shaw and Partners Financial Services Co-CEO, Earl Evans, said he is proud to be supporting the NSW athletes after a very tough winter of extended COVID lockdowns.
“The Summer of Surf athletes all train so hard and we are committed to running the best summer of surf sports racing in the newly expended Shaw and Partner Summer of Surf Series. With the uncertainty surrounding the QLD border for round one, Shaw and Partners is excited to see these NSW athletes get the chance to be rewarded for what was an incredibly tough winter.”
The Wanda Tradies “One Club” Carnival will be athletes first opportunity to gain points in the overall Shaw and Partners Summer of Surf Series with the event being dubbed a ’7,000′ meaning first place will receive 7,000 points with points being allocated all the way down to 20th place. In the event the QLD border is not open in time for the Shaw and Partners Hayden Kenny Classic, the event and subsequent point scores will be boosted to a 10,000.
Wanda SLSC Director of Surf Sports, Greg Pierce was ecstatic about the increase in prize money for the hard working NSW athletes. “This is the 6th edition of Wanda Tradies “One Club” Carnival, which has become a prestigious event on the Surf Life Saving NSW calendar. It is an amazing gesture from Shaw and Partners Financial Services to provide this increased funding not only for our sport and its athletes but also for our pre-exciting Wanda Tradies “One Club” carnival.
The Wanda Tradies “One Club” Carnival, expecting enormous participation numbers well over 1000 athletes, kicks off at Wanda Beach, Cronulla, NSW this Saturday 4th December 2021.

* In the event the QLD borders are not open to NSW competitors for the Shaw and Partners Hayden Kenny Classic, the Wanda Tradies ‘One Club’ carnival will become a 10,000 point score.
